Well, my it HAS been a long time....

Life just happens..... and then - blogging does NOT happen...... oh well.

I have the feeling I will never be a "great" blogger - but I will try to be a better one than I have been the lat couple of years. I do enjoy it greatly....

I have been following a blogger who has the most wonderful blog called: Between Naps on the Porch. if you have any interest in beautiful interiors, old houses, historical houses, wonderful table settings.... this is the place.

I make my pitiful attempts -
and place them here - (not on her wonderful blog - perhaps someday!)The Dining room at Valentines. I am working on my photo taking - and my lighting - and my china collections.... then we will see about tablescapes. Right now - I am all about my new bay window..... yay....

Fun Contest - and Great Book!

I was fortunate to be loaned an advance copy of a book called BEAUTIFUL CREATURES by Cami Garcia and Margaret Stohl - I am just over 1/2 way through it - and am loving it. I love it when I have trouble putting a book down - and I am trying all day to figure out a way to sit and read it for just a couple of seconds! I can't wait to see what happens next.

This little guy was on display at our local community college - I thought he was adorable - and he was made by a Junior in High School - Very talented.....

I knitted up a pair of "Bella's Mittens" this weekend - I did a gold tone instead of Grey - I love the cable up the back, and that they are so long.....
